Pomona, CA- Today was a wonderful day that made the sun shine brighter than every. President Barack Obama visited the city of Pomona around 11:35 am this morning.  The audience of cheering supporters, which included young and old watched the President's limo drive down Holt Street through yellow tapped off ropes.

The Pomona city residents lined up on the sidewalk starting at 8am this morning,
awaiting for the arrival of President Obama.  With merchant's sales of Obama memorabilias of T-shirts,watches, clocks and posters, there was an atmosphere as if you were at the annual Christmas Parade.

President Obama visited the Edison Electric Vehicle Technical Center to talk with engineers, executive and city leaders to resolve the  issue that is effecting our economy. The topic focus was on the new era of energy with the hybrid car to promoter a cleaner and a more efficient way of living.

President Obama believes that going hybrid is the key to the competitiveness in the 21st century and that the nation supply of renewable energy will double.  With the amount of gas and the way that things have been going, I am willing to try almost anything. If that is what it will take to get our economy back on it's feet, well I say go for it.

I am just so blessed to know that my/our President took the time to care and come to me! There are some that say in the Pomona community that this is the first time that a President has visit the city.   Being a resident for only 3 years, I am not sure how accurately that information is, but I for sure will get to the bottom of it.  For now this is a day of history that I am proud to say, I did not miss!
